White Oak Creek will add 2 weekends dedicated to Hunter style matches. What’s that all about? Rifles will be limited to hunting-style rigs, weight limited, in typical big-game cartridges, (specifics to follow). We will offer 1-Day NRL Hunter Games matches on Saturday and ELR Hunter matches on Sunday the weekends of May 17/18 and September 20/21. NRL Hunter Games course of fire includes primarily animal-shaped targets at ranges from 150 to 800yds, at unknown distances. Shooters on the clock will have to identify and range the target(s), establish a firing position, and engage. Rifle support will vary from natural features (ground/logs/boulders/trees) to prone to tripod. ELR Hunter is a known-distance prone bipod/rear bag or tripod match with targets possibly as far out as 1 mile (most will be 1200 yards and in).
